Glows sticks are the main item in Glowsticking which is a dance that has become popular with people, especially teens. Glow sticks are used a lot with ravers who like to see many colors flashing about in many different patterns.

Light Sticks

Line the walkway and steps leading to the party house or apartment with 4” Light Sticks in blue, red, and green. Use 6" Assorted Light Sticks in red, yellow, blue, green as place-cards, just punch a small hole in a place-card write the guest’s name on it and using a ribbon inserted in the hole on the card, tie it one of the assorted lightsticks. Tie the glow sticks about an inch apart down the length of four foot silver and gold cords and hang them from the ceiling. Make sure each guest has a glow stick as they walk into the party. Get large clear glass bowls and fill them with both 4” and 6” glow sticks. Place these around the party area to add color and light. Alternately consider putting glow sticks in several candelabras and setting them around the party. This would work well as the centerpiece on the main refreshment table. If there will be a cake, consider using glow sticks instead of candles. Wrap the base of the glow stick on foil and insert it about a half inch into the cake. For a party with cupcakes instead of a large cake, use mini glow sticks by inserting one in each cupcake.
